Maybe we can’t stop the storm but we can change the course of many lives that got dramatically scarred by the war.
Jolly Sailor knows how important it is to help those in need. His Mama taught him that. And Papa always told him to be brave.
We are calling all sisters and brothers to help us pull the rope to hoist the sail of hope. It’s time to be brave and it’s time to stand up for those in need. So pull up your socks and start chanting with us as we work together to change the lives and give kids back their future.
We start with one house where we will give warmth and safety to orphants from Ukraine, but we dream big. We dream about 4 houses.
Our plan is to provide all kids with adequate psychiatric help and therapies designed to give them a chance. That’s the least we can do. In the end we are all in the same boat.

In the era of recent events that undoubtedly affected the whole world, especially Ukraine. We, as the Wake Up the Hope Foundation, want to open the first House for Children from Ukraine in Poland.
Our house proudly stands in the vicinity of a charming park in Gdańsk, surrounded by lush green trees. Convenient location in the middle of the currently revitalized old town of Orunia and close to the historic center of Gdańsk are just a few of the many advantages of our investment. The building has direct access to all means of public transport and the train station.
There is also a primary, vocational and music school nearby, which gives our pupils a range of educational opportunities. We want the best qualified staff of educators to take care of children, who will take care not only of the basic needs of the charges but also support them in their emotional, social and educational development. This house is to become a sanctuary for children and young people who experience difficult times related to the war in their country.
For 14 years, the Wake Up the Hope Foundation has been caring for the welfare of children from Gdańsk Homes for Children.
Every year we organize winter and summer camps for them in Zakopane and Przywidz. However, during the school year, we conduct sports activities.
We are dynamically active all the time and broaden our horizons and we want to bring help, goodness and smile further and direct it towards our neighbors.
We undoubtedly need support in this endeavor. That is why we are looking for sponsors who, just like us, have open hearts to help children.
The received financial support will allow us to properly equip our house and thus contribute to the faster opening of the facility.
